To ensure my Motorcycle Navigator stays charged and has power to run at maximum brightness, I installed a marine-grade USB charger near the handlebars. It uses leads running across the frame, under the tank, and tapping into the headlights fuse in the fuse-box. This ensures it runs only when key is turned and doesn’t drain the battery otherwise.

I needed to replace my failed vehicle navigator. I use Android phone without a sim card, mounted in a heavy duty case and riveted to a Ram-Ball, then mounted on a handle bar or a suction cup in a car window. Organic Maps app preloaded with offline maps provides navigation when motorcycling, on road trips or car renting when travelling.

Upon riding the new Honda CB750 a few times, I knew I made a great choice. A KTM-level-fun bike made by Honda :) It is not perfect, but light and nimble, with an excellent torquey engine, and an incredible value. The first component I upgraded, one on which Honda saved on to make their budget, is the seat.

When looking for a new bike to replace my KTM (baby)Duke 390, I wanted bullet-proof reliability, great value and strong after market support. KTM could deliver only the last requirement, but Honda stepped up to the challenge. The CB750 Hornet finally came to North America in 2025 and was universally hailed as the “bike of the year”.
