We flew around Tracy, over the kid’s house, flew over Jerusalem airport and back to Tracy Muni. He got his first taste of holding pitch and heading. It took all of 40min. For safety, while flying in backcountry or in case of an emergency, I protect my head against Cessna A-pillar with a Team Wendy SAR Tactical helmet. Recently my old headset died and I upgraded to David Clarke One-X. I engineered a new 3d printed Peltor mount for ear cups. DC’s have great design, where I attached an adapter onto existing #4-40 post and bolted through it. PLA here works only in compression.

It broadcasts your location and is collected by gov contractors for surveillance. While RemoteID is federally mandated, there is no real-time enforcement as local authorities are actually busy with real crime.
